“ My family and I were traveling through town and came across this deli. I would have given it a 5 start review because the food is good. But the hospitality was the reason for removing the star. We ordered 3 sandwiches and a drink and spent $20. Needed to use the restroom and we're told NO public restroom. I had to walk 2 blocks up to the gas station in order to use the restroom and wash my hands before getting my food. I understand if I'm not a customer, but absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for when you are a customer! I would not go back to this place based on this alone. ”

“ There's not a lot of places to eat in Atlanta but I wanted to get a quick bite to eat between peewee football games while we were in town. I've passed by this place on the way downstate many times but had never stopped in. The sandwich menu is impressive (I should've taken a pic) the food is fantastic and the price is low, it's a great find. We'll be stopping by here every time we pass by! Far better than fast food. This place could hold its own in any major city. Don't pass this place up if you're in the area. You'll thank me later! ”

“ Great place to have a deli made sandwich by two great ladies. Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by a great sandwich and service. Ordered a club sandwich and it was quickly made by one of the owners and handed over. I sat at the counter because this place is small. Sandwich was fresh and good. No frills here. Just honest and good lunch sandwich. Decor is interesting. The owners collect old lunch boxes. I saw lunch boxes from my childhood and even some of the real old ones. I will definitely return for another great sandwich. Trust. ”

“ This place is something special. A little store in a tiny town, Thunder Bay made sandwiches for 10 of us every day for lunch for 2 full weeks... and everyone was satisfied the whole time. There are many tasty choices. The Reuben, the turkey bacon cheddar, and the shredded chicken were a few of the favorites. The chili is fantastic (especially on a cold winter's day) and we tried the soup of the day every day. The split pea is especially good, but there were zero complaints about any food for the entire 2 weeks. That's an amazing feat. Thank you, Thunder Bay Deli! ”
